Hello Gentleman,
As most, if not all, of you have heard I am currently serving in Iraq as a civilian firefighter. I will be home for good come next September and have a good amount of funds to get my medic impression up off the ground and into the plane. I have been talking with Lt. Barlow whom has said that we now have 2 medics besides me....I just hope you guys know the difference between a 16 gauge and a 24 gauge needle...cause there will be a quiz when I get back to the states. But truly....I want to help you two out the best I can from here...and whenever I get home....put it all together for one kick-ass medical display.
A few months back I left the 307th to go with the 505th.....at the time I felt I was doing the right thing, but if going to war and living in the hell on earth desert does nothing else for a man...it gives him time to think...and that I have done. I love the 307th....you guys are like brothers to me...and the whole time I was not officially associated I was torn inside for turning my back on y'all....but I promise you this....I will give my 100% to make the medical side of the 307th the best it can be...cause my other 10% goes to my British unit...
But ya..I have a lot of plans going though my head that will blow other units out of the water and truly make us unique....Lt. Barlow tells me that the numbers are growing which I think is better than anything...let the 307th grow...we will/are just as good as the other units...and I for one am going to make sure everyone we participate with knows our potential and is in complete awe when they see us.
I am going to do my catching up on everything on my end....and for you new medics....be looking for me to send you some website links to reference sites. Also...I would appreciate you two to send me a PM introducing yourself and please include your experience in reenacting, your purpose for wanting to do this and where u want to go.
***Keep your feet dry....make sure to change your socks***
Over and out,
